Presentation: Quantifying and Managing Waste Cigarette Butts: A Case Study in the Republic of Croatia

Aleksandra Anic Vucinić, PhD, is Professor at University of Zagreb Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering. The area of interest is circular economy in waste management, particularly in the management system of special waste categories. She is a leader, coordinator, and creator of environmental impact studies, environmental protection reports, waste management reports, and environmental permits. She teaches several courses in the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies of Environmental Engineering. She is the President of the Croatian Waste Management Association (HUGO).
