Lígia Pinto (ORCID ID: 0000-0001-7089-2663) holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of South Carolina, USA. She is Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Universidade do Minho in Braga, Portugal, and is a researcher in the NIPE Research Unit. She serves as President of the Portuguese Association of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering- APESB. Her research interests focus on studying individual decisions, in areas such as environment, health, waste and water, applying experimental methods.
