Marième Travaly
is the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Regional Manager and Acting Regional Industry Head for the Middle East, Central Asia, Türkiye, Afghanistan and Pakistan (MCT) region at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank Group.
Mrs. Travaly leads a team based in Almaty, Amman, Dubai, Islamabad, Istanbul, Karachi, Riyadh and Tashkent. She drives Business Development and Transaction Execution through Structured Finance solutions for the Infrastructure Industry in the MCT region ensuring a financially sustainable portfolio. This Industry includes the following sectors: Energy, Mining, Municipal (Cities, Municipal Finance, Water, Waste) and Environmental Infrastructure, Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) and Transport.
Mrs. Travaly held several positions within IFC, including Portfolio Manager, in charge of the Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services (Tourism, Retail, Property, Health and Education) sectors for Sub-Saharan Africa. In that role, she built strong relationship with clients spanning from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to large corporates and contributing significantly to IFC’ strategic agenda.
A Senegalese national, Mrs. Travaly brings more than 20 years of professional background within the IFC ranging from heading Country Office to Investment Transactions Nurturing, Structuring and Monitoring. Mrs. Travaly holds a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School, UK.
